Which to me means nothing again will be done. I asked if he wanted my number and he said no if he needs if he'll figure out how to find it. I called the manager the next day explained what happened and was told by him that it probably didn't happen but he has to look into it. I told him really? And he went outside to wait till I walked out.i asked the worker if this happens alot and he said yes that he does this all the time to customers and employees. As he walked away I said sir you don't have to be such an ass, he spun around started spewing profanities to me then proceeded to invite me outside to fight over and over saying he would beat the **** out of me and kick my spic ass. Everything was fine till the assistant manager walked up the worker said isn't this your sale the assistant manager said yes but if he's to much of a ****** idiot to do it correctly then that's his ***** problem **** him. I went in to trade in a part that was the wrong part given to me. Please send a copy of the receipt for the purchase of the rotor through the BBB complaint directly when able. We would also require a release of liability form to be signed before the check is released when providing payment to our customer directly due to a liability concern. If ***** can please provide ** with a copy of the receipt from our competitor for the rotor that was required to be purchased due to this matter O'Reilly Auto Parts can provide reimbursement for what was paid, in which a check would be sent to our Chesterfield, MI store located on **********************************. We do see our Customer Satisfaction agent, *****, responded to *****'s email on 05/30 at 7:46 AM CST, in which *****'s contact number was requested so we could reach out regarding this matter but have not received a reply back with the requested information. It cost me $87.97, not to mention the time and gas of 3 trips to their store and a 4th to the competition. I want to be reimbursed for the new rotor I was forced to buy after they ruined mine. I sent ********** an email through the "Contact **" on their website but have not received a response. I instead purchased a new rotor from a competitor. I was angry that they did not automatically replace the rotor that they damaged and refused to go back a 4th time. He returned home and told me what happened. They refunded him the $25 he had previously paid and said ***be they could give him a deal on a new rotor. The rotor was ruined and could not be used. Their antiquated equipment didn't even have a chatter strap that *** have prevented the damage. They attempted to turn the rotor several more times to remove the chatter marks and resurface the rotor properly. He returned to the store for the third time. Upon further inspection of the rotor, he noticed chatter marks that weren't there previously. He returned to the store, paid $25 and returned home with the rotor. 5 minutes after returning home, they called to pick it up. Yet he was told to leave it because they had to take care of other customers first and didn't know how long it would be. There were 5 employees in the store and no other customers. He was replacing the wheel hub bearing and thought it would be prudent to have it done while everything was apart even though the rotor was new in December and showed no wear. Since nitrogen is pricier than air, you should regularly check your VS and make sure your tires are not defeating. On Sunday, May 28, 2023, my brother took the rear brake rotor from my 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan to ********** on ******* in Chesterfield Township to have it "turned"/resurfaced. If the caps on VS have a green top with an N or N2, you can be sure they are filled with nitrogen. Additionally, not all VS are the same size.įurthermore, check your tires and see if they are filled with nitrogen, nitrofill, or regular air. You don’t want to put aluminum stems on brass valves because of corrosion, which will lead to the VS failure again. However, when repairing them, make sure that the stems are compatible with valves. The metal ones are usually used for an appearance on cars with chrome rims. Basically, there are stems made out of rubber and metal. There are more than a few different types of VS, and you should figure out which type needs to be replaced.Ī rim with Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and the one without it will have different VS. Before you figure out how to remove valve stems, make sure that you have all the right parts.
